Greetings fellow space travelers! Crash Facepalm here, your suave but hapless astronaut reporter, reporting live from the most outrageous convention in the galaxy - Concellation 2023!
It's Monday, and most conventions would be winding down by now, but not Concellation 2023! This party is still going strong, with events and panels that are out of this world.
I had the pleasure of attending a panel on "The Science of Magic" with none other than Neil Gaiman and J.K. Rowling. Let me tell you, it was truly magical. Gaiman shared some insights on the physics of magic, while Rowling explained the chemistry behind the potion-making process.
Later, I found myself in a heated debate with George R.R. Martin over the best way to kill off characters in a story. Let's just say, I didn't fare too well in that argument.
But the real highlight of my day was getting to meet one of my childhood heroes, Mark Hamill. He was kind enough to autograph my lightsaber and even gave me some pointers on how to use it. I can't wait to show off my new moves!
The cosplay at Concellation 2023 is also next level. I saw a group dressed up as the crew of the USS Enterprise, complete with a functioning bridge. And don't even get me started on the group of Warhammer 40k cosplayers - they were so convincing, I thought I was in a battlezone!
All in all, it's been an incredible experience so far, and I can't wait to see what the rest of Concellation 2023 has in store for us. Stay tuned for more updates from yours truly, Crash Facepalm.
