Crash Facepalm's Report on Concellation 2023

#Concellation2023: A Convention to Remember

Hey, space cadets! It's your favorite astronaut reporter, Crash Facepalm, reporting from the most outrageous science fiction and fantasy convention in the galaxy - Concellation 2023! And let me tell you, this convention is out of this world!

The Panels

First up, we had a panel with the great George R.R. Martin, where he revealed that all of the characters who died in his books are actually alive and well, living on a remote island somewhere. We also had a panel with J.K. Rowling, where she announced that she's writing a new series of books about a wizard who's allergic to magic.

The Cosplay

The cosplay at Concellation 2023 is next-level. I saw a group of Stormtroopers doing the Macarena, a Pikachu dressed as Darth Vader, and even a Wookiee doing stand-up comedy. And that's not even the craziest part - I saw a guy dressed as an actual black hole. I don't even know how that's physically possible!

The Parties

But wait, there's more! The parties at Concellation 2023 are absolutely insane. I went to a Game of Thrones-themed party where they served dragon meat (don't worry, it was just chicken). I also went to a party where they recreated the entire Cantina scene from Star Wars, complete with live music from Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. And let's not forget the after-party, where I saw William Shatner and Patrick Stewart having a dance-off. I kid you not!

The Merchandise

And of course, what's a convention without some sweet merchandise? I saw everything from lightsabers that actually work to a limited edition set of Harry Potter wands made out of unicorn hair. I even got myself a t-shirt that says "I survived Concellation 2023 and all I got was this lousy shirt."

The Bottom Line

All in all, Concellation 2023 has been the most epic convention I've ever attended. The panels, the cosplay
